CATS Department is responsible for teaching methodology courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing various programmes within the School of Education. The Department also offers postgraduate programmes in curriculum and teaching studies in three major areas:
We started our journey in the year 1988. Over the past two and half decades, we have grown from just offering undergraduate courses for training secondary school teachers to PhD programmes in curriculum and teaching studies. The Department has produced graduates who are currently working in academia, government, non-governmental organisations and in industry, within and outside Malawi.
